Today I came across this little page via a linkedin group (Link):
This Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is for people who know something about data analysis and want to learn about the special capabilities of spatial data analysis.
Unfortunately not much is know regarding this course:
Hands-on exercises, short video lectures, quizzes, case studies and discussion
6 weeks, 2-3 hours of study per week
Certificate of completion and prizes
But one thing is known:
You’ll get free access to the full analytical capabilities of ArcGIS Online, Esri’s cloud-based GIS platform.
See more and register here.
Could someone comment whether there is a schedule with some more background?!
I just signed up and got the following response by email.
“Thanks for your interest in Esri’s free online course Going Places with Spatial
Analysis. We’ve received your request and we’re saving a virtual seat for
you in our course that starts later this year. Watch for an e-mail in early
August with details on the course start date and enrollment process.”
You’re in! Your place is saved for Esri’s free online course Going
Places with Spatial Analysis. The course will start on Wednesday, September
3, and run through October 15. Your next step will be to create an account in
our online course environment. We’ll send you an invitation to do that a few
days before the course starts.
